13th Annual Christmas party and gift exchange

Connie Voos and Robbie Fanning have volunteered to coordinate our Holiday Dinner Party. We have decided to do it ourselves this year, rather than use a caterer. The main dishes will come from commercial sources, and we'll ask the club members to help prepare the side dishes. The cost will be about $10/person.

The main meal will be sliced ham with mustard sauce and sliced turkey with gravy and dinner rolls. We may or may not have an appetizer tray, depending on cost. We will need help on preparing such side dishes as scalloped potatoes, a green-bean casserole, pasta and fruit salads, and such. Our Master Cake Maker, Linda Salter, has volunteered to make cakes again.

Connie and Robbie will be at the October meeting. We will pass around a sign-up sheet for the dinner. Once we have an idea of how many will come, we will assign dishes to bring, using our telephone tree to help contact members.
