Name tags-Members are now responsible to make their own. Otherwise, a paper "HEY YOU" will be available.
We will meet at Laney College in the Wood Technology Department, located at 900 Fallon St, Oakland CA.
Our host: Ron Mackrodt is the Department Chair. Ron has worked in many aspects of the trade, and has been teaching at Laney college since 1980. Ron has spent much of his recent time and effort recently in bringing the wood technology department into the 21st century, and providing a shop with state of the art technology. Following a brief presentation we will get a tour of the shop.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
FROM SAN FRANCISCO -Take the bay bridge east. Merge onto I-880 South. Take the Broadway/Alameda exit, and continue straight at the end of the exit ramp onto Union St. Turn right at 7th St., Turn left at Franklin, Turn right on 9th St.
FROM HWY 92 (SAN MATEO BRIDGE) EASTBOUND -Take I-880 north. Take the Oak St. Exit towards Lakeside Dr. Turn right on Oak St. Turn right on 9th St.
FROM SOUTH BAY / EAST BAY - Depending on your location, you can choose a number of different freeways to eventually get to I-880N. Take the Oak St. Exit towards Lakeside Dr.. Turn right on Oak St. Turn right on 9th St.
For those who can reach it, taking BART is a good idea. Parking in the street or at the BART station is OK in the evening.
