I have a 1950's Craftsman table saw that I want to give away to a deserving person. It has a 54" Biesmeyer fence, extension table, two sliding cut off tables, mobile base, custom cabinet with two drawers. I was going to give it to a friends son-in-law but it would not start....so I got a spare 3/4 hp motor and fixed the existing 1hp motor at Palo Alto Electric at the cost of $200 ( I have the receipt). It is dead on accurate and I made a lot of great full sized cabinets on it.....now we are turning the workshop into a family room and saw dust will not make the wife happy.

It was suggested I ask $200 for it to make sure the person really wants it and appreciates it......I just want to find someone who will appreciate it.

I bought an old plane made of Tiger Maple, but it is missing the wedge. It would be best to make it of Tiger Maple as well. If anyone has a scrap piece of Tiger Maple, say about 2" x 4" or 5" and about 1" thick, I'd make it worth your while. We can work out a swap or cash. 36 ¼ tall, 33 ¾ deep, 92 ¼ long. High end (old, tight grained) Doug Fir. Lapped and lag bolted. 3 drawers, one drop down panel and open storage. Electrical four-plex outlet wired to the mains with flexible armored cable. Top 1 ½ thick, bottom solid wood, top layer ¾ MDF. Very heavy. Need two to four persons to move it.
