The Woodworking Show, April 21-23. Bruce Woods will be organizing the BAWA booth at the Spring Woodworking show in Santa Clara this year. He will be looking for happy volunteers to spend a few hours working at the booth talking to attendees who stop by about BAWA as well as volunteers who would be interested in doing demonstrations to help attract participants to our booth. As in the past, there will be a locked display case for displaying items no larger than 12" tall and deep that BAWA members have made. Bring items you want to display in our display case to the April meeting. Bruce will also be looking for a couple of larger items as an additional focal point for our booth. Please contact Bruce at 925-443-9052 or mojowoods@comcast.net if you have any ideas or suggestions and a larger item that you are willing to display. If you can't bring the item to the April meeting then contact Bruce and he will try to arrange a pickup. As sign up sheet will be passed around at the February and March meetings for volunteers to staff the booth. If you can't make either meeting then contact Bruce.

Did you know? There is a lot more to our web site than just the newsletter? Let?s take a trip. When you open the web site, you are greeted by BAWA: Who We Are. To the left is a column of resources as follows:

  • GALLERY - Shows photos of some of the member's work.
  • RESOURCES - A list of recommended lumber yards, hardware stores and much, much more. Put together by our members.
  • TECH TALKS - Many of our past Tech Talk presentations.
  • LIBRARY - The contents of our library. Dan Goodman, our new librarian will be bringing it to our meetings.
  • CONTACTS - List of all the Board members and Chairs.
  • MENTOR PROGRAM - Have a problem or need some help? Go to it and get in touch with someone who may be able to help.
  • ARCHIVED NEWSLETTERS - From August 2001 to the present.

If you have anything to add such as photos of your work, library materials to buy, etc. Contact me. So enjoy!
