Top is a single, beautiful slab of Kauri made into a table. (Kauri was a New Zealand wood used for furniture. It's now a protected species, so you can't get it anymore.) This particular top piece came from a log used in a dam in N. Z. The table was made about 8 yrs ago, but part of the top was deeply gouged recently when it was shipped here from N.Z. The table top measures: 43"wide x 118"long x 2-1/2" thick. The 2x4 trestle style legs stand 26½" high. The trestle is in very good condition. This table is very heavy (4 people to move it), and a lot of work will be needed to sand the gouges out of the top. So the owner will throw in two, small matching side tables of Kauri. These were never used, so they are in pristine condition. Can be seen in San Francisco by contacting Gary Campbell at 415/387-1318. Make Offer.
