This month's presentation
PLEASE NOTE THE MEETING TIME OF 7 PM
Did you ever wonder if a woodworker appears on a television show whether they have to get make-up applied to their faces like the big stars?
Well you will have a chance to find out during the Q&A session from our October speaker when David Marks makes a presentation to our club. David is the host and feature woodworker on a cable show featuring more advanced woodworking than New Yankee Workshop. His show appears on the DIY channel and the HGTV channel for the last two and half years (forgot the name of the show, since we don't get cable in our house!).
In real life he lives in the Sonoma area and is a member of the Sonoma Woodworkers club, however due to the demanding shooting schedule he has missed their meetings for the past few years.
He will use slides to tell us his story and share what it is like to use television to teach woodworking.
There will be no Tech Talk so we can hear plenty from this woodworker turned cable-TV star! Hooray for well-known woodworkers. Join us for this stimulating time.
