This Month's Meeting

September 20th (3rd Thursday) Starts 7:00 pm Sharp!

Epoxy, Glue and Restoration

Our September meeting will be at HÄFELE in San Francisco. Steve Smith of Smith & Co. will be our speaker this month. When asked about his background and education he said to say: "Steve Smith is a genius and makes glue." He owns or started a company that manufactures epoxy and seems to specialize in boat and architectural restoration. He will also discuss using epoxy in woodworking and is preparing some handouts for us. He hinted that he will describe his background and how he got into the business as part of the talk.
He did mention he has 24 lineal feet of chalk board in his office and he wanted to make sure we had something to write on while he talked. So, bring paper and writing materials. There will be no quiz at the end. Be ready for an informative and lively presentation on using and misusing epoxy at the nice setting of HÄFELE.
