CHILDREN and FAMILY-Family Explorations! Carpentry for Kids

WOOD your family like to build something with wood? Come see great Artworks made from wood in the art gallery and then learn how to use the tools of the trade to make your own wood sculptures. Entrance is included with museum admission. Our own Mike Bray responded, and is helping to plan and organize the event. If you have kids, or grandkids, it is a day to mark on your calendar it will be great fun!

THEY COULD STILL USE SOME HELP. They are looking for scrap wood to use in projects for the kids. Ideally someone could make kits for the kids to assemble their own tool tote or birdhouse. Anyone interested in donating wood or time to make the kits should contact Mike Bray for plans. Also, they are hoping to have glue-project shapes for the younger kids, so anyone who could crank out some circles, squares or triangles would be a godsend. Anyone who could supply spheres, cubes and pyramids would be bronzed and put on permanent display at the Museum for being so cool!
