Our program on March 18 will start at 6 or 6:30 pm depending on your interest. We'll be meeting at Custom Furniture Design at 50 De Haro Street, SF. At 6 pm Don Naples will be there with his Lap Sharp to sharpen some tools as time permits. Our main presentation will begin at 6:30 pm.

Thomas Fetherston has been in business for about 25 years designing furniture. He began his craft on the East Coast with five years apprenticeship restoring fine period antiques.

His studio has built custom furniture for many celebrities, including Danny Glover, Prince, Jerry Rice, to name a few. Thomas' work has also appeared over the years in numerous publications such as Interior Design, Architectural Digest. His studio has earned a reputation for creating some of the finest quality furnishings available.

Thomas will give us a tour of his studio and a talk on marketing fine furniture.

Meeting Location

From the South Bay-On Highway 101 take the VERMONT ST. exit (after CESAR CHAVEZ exit). Turn left at the first intersection which is VERMONT. Travel 4 blocks to ALAMEDA and turn right. Travel 3 blocks to DE HARO and turn left. You are on the correct block.

From the Bay Bridge-Take the 8TH ST OFF RAMP. Stay in the left lane on the ramp and make a sharp left onto 8TH ST. Travel 3 blocks to DIVISION at the circle. Round the circle and get onto Division. Travel 1 block to DE HARO and turn right. You are on the correct block.

From the Golden Gate Bridge-From LOMBARD turn right onto either GOUGH or VAN NESS. Travel to FELL, If you are on VAN NESS, FELL is 2 blocks past City Hall. Turn left on Fell and at MARKET all lanes turn a half right onto 10TH ST. Travel 6 blocks to the BRANNAN/ DIVISION intersection. Make a half left onto DIVISION and travel 2 blocks past the circle to DE HARO and turn right. You are on the correct block.
