Thursday September 17th at Foster City there will be a LIVELY panel discussion on Improving or Expanding Your SHOP! Thinking of making your shop more organized? How about adding a dust system? Upgrading your electrical service to the shop? How about building a new shop from the ground up? We will have panelists (woodworkers all) covering these or similar topics. Is the Table Saw king of the shop or the band saw? There is no correct answer, but we will have several viewpoints! Come bearing questions as a panel will be there ready to dispense their wisdom for your consumption. Want to focus on hand tools, maybe Japanese hand tools -- then what space and lighting requirements would you have for that endeavor? Come ready to have fun hearing some viewpoints and seeing some interesting slides on approaches to a useful and functional shop. Our Vice-President Jay Perrine is Chairing the Panel and has invited several woodworkers to participate. Should be a fun evening and will help you think about missing or weak areas of your shop -- and the shop is core to each of us in the club.
