10/8 BAWA volunteer construction at the Janet Pomeroy Center (old name was Recreation Center for the Handicapped ) in SF. We have a volunteer opportunity at the Janet Pomeroy Center which used to be called RCH (recreation center for the handicapped) 207 Skyline Blvd., San Francisco. (The entrance is on Zoo Road behind the Zoo. Last year our members installed hand railings. On October 8 we will be building an 9'X12' outdoor plant structure 7' high and designing and installing two wooden gates. There will be approximately 150 volunteers on the site performing a variety of tasks and lunch will be provided. To volunteer, contact Bill Henzel at 650/349-3062 or wjhenzel@aol.com.
10/30 BAWA volunteer construction. We will be designing and installing new kitchen cabinet doors for the Belmont Senior Center.
